Governing the conduct of the International Lemonade Awards
The International Lemonade Awards exist to recognise excellence in the craft of lemonade, without commercial preference and without reference to the price of the entry.
Entries shall be lemonade. A lemonade is held to be any non-fermented preparation in which the dominant character is that of citrus.
Entries may originate from any nation. No producer is excluded by virtue of size, origin or means.
Each entry is evaluated against four criteria, weighted equally: Taste, Craftsmanship, Innovation and Overall Experience.
All entries are decanted into identical crystal, served at identical temperature, and presented to the jury without label or provenance.
From the entries so evaluated, one shall be designated the recipient of the ILA Grand Prix. The decision of the jury is final.
The identities of the jury are confidential before judging and after judging. The Office of the Awards alone maintains the register.
The present Regulations may be amended only by ordinary resolution of the Office of the Awards, and shall be deposited in the Archives.
